Work Shirts Quilt

I made these four quilts for a woman whose husband had passed away at a young age. The larger quilt made with squares was for her, and the other three were for his mom, dad, and sister.

The small pieces in the center of the square blocks are from boxers she had given him. The outside part of the block are his shirts. The dark blue shirt was what he was wearing when he proposed to her.  I quilted “Will you marry me?” into the block for her.
