Dragons

The center part of this quilt is a cross-stitch that my client created over the course of two years. I’ve never seen a cross-stitch this big — I’m amazed it didn’t take her three years! She does needle work as a form of meditation to calm her body and mind. In 2020, this was something she needed (as many of us did, with all of the challenges and changes going on in the world)! I was so excited to make this beautiful piece into a quilt! Inspiration for the border came from a Dec. 2020 post by @corniq on Instagram and the custom quilting was done by Julia Jeans at Thread Dancing.
