Rita’s Collection #1

Like most of us Rita had a large collection of T- Shirts that she just couldn’t bring herself to get rid of. The T- Shirts represent many happy times and events in her life.

The first quilt I made was for her son. As a young man Rita’s son swam competitively for several teams. He loved the sport so much he was inspired to coach others including young people at summer camps – all very happy memories of his youth. I’m honored to have made this quilt as a one of a kind gift for Rita and her son.
